LOVE JEHAD :
“I want a CBI probe because I know how influential he is,” Tara said, adding that she was thankful to the Jharkhand administration and the police officers for arresting her husband.
“I just want justice; he must be punished,” she added.
Kohli, who was produced in the Dwarka court in the Capital on Wednesday, along with his mother Kaushal Rani, denied all charges levelled by Tara.
He was later taken to Ranchi, on a three-day transit remand, where he would be interrogated on Thursday.
Tara has alleged that Kohli concealed his Muslim identity to marry her last month. Tara said it was only after marrying him that she found out her husband’s real name was Raqibul Hassan. Later, he and his mother tried to coerce her to change her religion, she said.
Tara also alleged that several girls used to visit him even after their marriage, and Kohli had got a room permanently booked at a hotel near the Ranchi railway station, where he entertained influential persons by sending these girls to them.
