The Freedom Movement: Bose’s contribution ignored

The Freedom Movement: Bose’s contribution ignored
………………………………………….
Historically speaking, the most important fact to emerge from a re-study of the Indian Freedom Movement is the following:
……………………………………………………………………………………………………….It was Subhas Chandra Bose, rather than Gandhi or his associates, who contributed the most to India’s freedom in 1947.
I present the evidence to this truth. It comes from no less a person than Clement Attlee, the Prime Minister who took the decision to grant independence to India. Since this is of fundamental importance, it is worth placing it on record. The full details can be found in Majumdar, Volume III pages 609 -10.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
•Lord Clement Attlee, the British Prime Minister from 1945-51,, the Viceroy of India, during his interview revealed some of the shocking truths regarding Indian Independence movement.
• When B.P. Chakravarti was acting as Governor of West Bengal, Lord Attlee visited India and stayed as his guest for three days at the Raj Bhavan. Chakravarti asked Attlee about the real grounds for granting independence to India. Specifically, his question was, when the Quit India movement lay in ruins years before 1947 where the need for the British to leave in such a hurry was. Attlee’s response is most illuminating and important for history,
• When Lord Attlee was asked about the extent to which the British decision to quit India was influenced by Gandhiji’s activities,
• he slowly uttered with his lips parted in a smile of disdain and putting emphasis on each letter said-”M-i-n-i-m-a-l”.Mr. Attlee cited several reasons why they left India, the most important of which were the activities of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose which that had weakened the very foundation of the attachment of the Indian land and the Naval forces of the British Government.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
• Chakravarti later mentioned this conversation with Attlee in a speech broadcast on All India Radio, but left out all references to Gandhi (He should not have).

Please share this out and disseminate the real facts about Indian Freedom, which have been hidden by Propaganda.
